Why are these separate?

Given the virtually identical decos and the fact that these are labelled as "American Rescue Team", is there any reason not to merge the individual toys with the articles for their American counterparts in the Rescue Patrol?--Khajidha (talk) 07:28, 12 May 2022 (EDT)

I'm not entirely sure that was the intention by Takara. All "USA Edition"-type figures from around that time were generally imported over in original Hasbro packaging with Japanese stickers and usually had a (poorly translated) Japanese variant of the Hasbro name to some extent (e.g. Transquito/Transcute) or were straight repurposings of the Hasbro toy (e.g. Nightbeat/Minerva Night Beat). The other thing to note is the fact that Takara would've used the Japanese member names if they planned on them being another release of the Rescue Patrol Team instead. There just feels like too much here that tells me these are meant to be separate individuals, especially given the new team title.

That being said, I don't feel that strongly about it either way, I just saw an article that needed work while doing my rounds, so thought I'd help breathe some life into it. If there's a larger consensus to merge these fellas with either of the two teams, then so be it. -- Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 07:56, 12 May 2022 (EDT)
