Am I the only one drawing relations to that fiasco where Bush claimed "mission accomplished" on iraqui?- ID

As I said in the edit summary, lets try and avoid real world references here. We're at each others throats enough over the fictional stuff, why add more reason to argue over the factual stuff? -- SFH 16:42, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
There got to be at least a moose and four guys up there that can edit this and fill in the details. CMON MOOSE! WE ARE COUNTING ON YOU!

Re: Trivia

[edit]
  • Ultra Magnus got defeated by Starscream after only one shot, wile Megatron shrugs them off and repeatedly defeats Starscream...It's to hope that Magnus never has to face Megatron.

Megatron never let Starscream get a point-blank shot in. Magnus turned his back on Starscream, then turned round unprepared to a shot right in the face. That may just have something to do with it [One hopes Magnus would be at least a tad smarter against Megatron].

Anyone think of a way to rephrase to allow for that without just turning it into an "Although,..." point-counterpoint? - SanityOrMadness 21:17, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, just wanted to note that he got defeated rather easily. but you've got to admit, just letting his guard down against starscream was a bad idea.--Grand-majin 21:23, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Also, the Ironhide/Traitor bit is premature, especially since we just got a teaser for purple-eyed Swindle.--MCRG 06:04, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

I'd like to quibble with this bit of trivia myself: "Starscream becomes the first Animated character to have his spark extinguished. The writers better have a pretty good way of keeping him around, as it's not exactly hard to pull a crystal out of his head." Hasn't the show demonstrated that it IS hard to pull the Allspark fragments out of whatever they're lodged in? Not even Ultra Magnus's hammer could shift the one on the train; the only thing that dislodges them is Sari's key, and I can't see the Autobots actively removing it and killing him. That seems a pretty good way of keeping him around already, surely? Muddtallica 19:47, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Plus, Optimus had his spark extinguished in Transform and Roll Out. Removing. - SanityOrMadness 19:51, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

there are two remarkable references with TF G1 ... - doesn't the mountain hideout of cons look any familiar to you (just missing crashed Ark in it) - "What's the matter? You look like you've seen a ghost." - sure reminds me a G1 season 3 part "Ghost in the machine" where Starscream lives again in ghost form

Would the above user come back and sign their comment? Anyway, can we please mention the phrase Starscream Death Montage in the trivia section? ZeldaTheSwordsman 16:54, 14 September 2009 (EDT)

1) the first one is way to generic to say it's a reference. 2) Same as one, it's used EVERYWERE. 3)The montage is awesome, yes, but apart from "the montage of megatron killing starscream over and over is awesome", there is much to say about it.--Sunjumper 17:03, 14 September 2009 (EDT)
