It's not wrong information. Hasbro's page about Monopoly: "Mr. Monopoly is the name of the MONOPOLY® man." --abates (talk) 17:28, 13 September 2017 (EDT)

If we wanted to be picayune about it, his real name was Milburn Pennybags - but I had the exact same thought when I first saw this, and - as mentioned - was dissapointed to discover Hasbro officially changed his name to "Mr. Monopoly" in 1999. - TBR (talk) 19:35, 13 September 2017 (EDT)
