In Make Tracks, Tracks mentions that he has a computer that controls his body, and that disconnecting it from his body would make him just an ordinary machine. Could that be taken as an onboard computer? -- SFH 18:24, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

I'd have to say no, as in that case the "computer" seems to be his actual brain, which is completely different than the Beast Era onboard computers. --KilMichaelMcC 18:35, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

How much of this is canonical, and how much is pseudocanon / behind the scenes stuff? Has any Transformer ever actually said the words "onboard computer"? --Steve-o 22:12, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

I hate to leave something like this hanging out there, even though the comment might be regarded as stale. In The Agenda (Part III), Blackarachnia addressed her computer as "computer" and it is onboard, so it isn't pseudocanon or anything. - Starfield 07:05, 26 June 2013 (EDT)
The exact term "onboard computer" is in fact used in Beast Machines. "Command codes and onboard computers are things of the past," says Optimus Primal in "Master of the House." --KilMichaelMcC 23:39, 26 June 2013 (EDT)
