Talk:Optimal Situation
Didn't the "Teletron I" mistake actually begin in The Agenda (Part III)? When Megs reached toward the Ark and was zapped by the force field, he remarked "Ahh, Teletron I is still operational." --FFN 21:19, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, it did. -- SFH 21:23, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- Good, then we can move the latest edit to this page to The Agenda. --FFN 21:27, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Timeline question
[edit]Blackarachnia says the Ark technology is 4 million years old, indicating that the Ark had already been sitting there 4 million years. Then later, Primal tells Megatron he'd have 4 million years to clean him off the walls if they got into a fight, implying that there was still 4 million years before the inhabitants of the Ark awake. So, 4 plus 4 equals 8. I thought the Ark crashed and was dormant 4 million years total in G1 continuity, not eight. Is this an error, or is Primal just being hyperbolic in his threats?--SuzyP 20:35, 9 January 2010 (EST)
- The level of the technology is 4 million years old, compared to the level of their technology. Like if I went back in time to 1984 and said, "How am I supposed to surf the web with 30 year old technology?" - Starfield 20:51, 9 January 2010 (EST)
- Thanks. That's contextually plausible.--SuzyP 22:37, 9 January 2010 (EST)
possible real world reference?
[edit]I'm curious... when Primal is changing into his Optimal mode, he's on his knees, in pain, and his body's all mutating and everything. It seems very similar to the transformation sequence in An American Werewolf in London... for comparison, here's the actual scene, albeit with a modified score.
