Talk:Optimus Prime (Armada)
My nonexistant kingdom for a picture of pre-Earth Prime in this article! --Andrusi 20:24, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

head and trailer
[edit]how optimus turn into a head for omega supreme? shouldnt we just end up with a tiny head? and also were does his trialer go when he transforms? in all but one occasion in ENERGON it dissapears and in CYBERTRON when he transforms we just see a vortex of space when he transforms.
- Well, Omega split open, his Headmaster popped out and his "tiny head" moved out of the way, and he had a space for Optimus to fit. And really...Prime's trailer ALWAYS disappears.--EricMarrs 17:11, 24 April 2007

no i mean wouldnt it be out of proportion? i think a transformer with a GIANT body would have a GIANT head aswell not a NORMAL sized head like optimus has81.98.152.16 15:07, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
Fire Truck
[edit]Frankly, I really think Cybertron Optimus Prime's alt mode doesn't look like a futuristic fire truck ,though it is officially stated that it is one. Well, just saying. Anyone has similar thought? --TX55 03:48, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- He's a big red truck with emergency lights, ladder designs, and a gun that looks like the nozzle to a fire hose. How does he not?--Rosicrucian 03:52, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- Umm, the hose and the ladder look like a cannon or a blaster rather than a normal hose and a normal ladder. This make him like a armed truck. (Okay, "armed fire truck" due to the emergency lights.) :)--TX55 04:00, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- Hasbro Eric's concept designs had him as a fire truck that had guns and could fly, and Prime has more or less stayed that way from conception to execution, as far as we know. Though the cartoon did point out (early on) via human characters that Prime doesn't look like any fire truck they might use. --FFN 04:05, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Edit too slow
[edit]Hurry up and edit this article faster, but leave the humorous parts alone. I'm serious! You edit this article too slow, and made me do all your work.

Dies Twice?
[edit]This article seems to only mention one of this Prime's deaths. Can someone more familiar with the property than me fill in the other time? JW 22:09, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- I don't recall a second time either. --ItsWalky 22:13, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- Are we thinking of that time in Energon where he everyone was all "Oh no" and Prime said something that made it sound like he wouldn't be back and disintegrated into particles of light... and was absolutely fine with no remark in the next episode? - Chris McFeely 22:36, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- In the intro paragraphs of this article, it says, "He's also died a couple times." This is all I know on the topic, and I'm curious, so . . . JW 01:17, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- He definitely doesn't die after Armada, although he gets beat up to the point of near death a few times in Energon.

RID redeco
[edit]Does anybody have the bios that came with the Costco two-pack? Nobody seems to have them around. —Interrobang 04:47, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
triple-changer
[edit]Shouldn't we list the Cybertron Optimus Prime as a triple-changer?--Autobot Soundwave 23:05, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
- Only if he's officially deemed a Triple Changer. --ItsWalky 23:12, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Armada cartoon revamp
[edit]I see the character stub template has been put back in place. I didn't have a problem with the section as it was; it was lacking in detail but it covered the bases. Should I expand the Armada cartoon section to be more detailed like I did for the Energon and Cybertron portions (since I doubt anyone else will want to do it)? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.51.184.13 (talk • contribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.
- Considering how it has absolutely nothing from "Comrade" to "Crisis", it doesn't even "cover the bases". It needs expansion, absolutely. —Interrobang 14:44, 4 October 2011 (EDT)
Ask Vector Prime
[edit]"Question: Can transformers from different realities share a name but NOT be an alternate reality version of the same individual. Are RID15 Slipstream and Animated Slipstream, or RID Grimlock and G1 Grimlock, different individuals who happen to share a name, or alternate reality versions of each other respectively? Can you give a few other examples?
Answer: Of course, it is actually quite common. Those two Grimlocks have nothing to do with each other. The Optimus left to rot by Megazarak is a very different Spark than the Optimus who fought besides me during the events of the Singularity, or the Optimus who allowed himself to be disassembled by the Swarm. The Megatron of the Beast Wars is a different Megatron from his namesake. It is quite common."
So should Optimus Prime from 3h comics be moved to his own page again?--Primestar3 (talk) 17:57, 24 August 2015 (EDT)
Page rename
[edit]I think the page should be renamed to either Optimus Prime (Unicron Trilogy) or Optimus Prime (UT) since it's about Optimus throughout the Unicron Trilogy and not just Armada. --Starzone (talk) 10:28, 23 June 2019 (EDT)
- We use franchise of origin for disambiugation tags. His franchise of origin was Armada. The fact that he also appeared in Energon and Cybertron is not really relevant to that. He also appeared in the Universe toyline (which is mostly G1) and TransTech fiction. See Help:Disambiguation. If you think we should change our system of disambiguation, you would need to propose such a change at the Community Portal. Changing this character would not make sense unless we changed ALL of them. But I don't think you'll have much luck. --Khajidha (talk) 11:19, 23 June 2019 (EDT)
