Talk:Optimus Prime (Balancing Act)
I also don't know where it's stated that Megazarak killed this guy. (I got that info from Nemesis Prime's page.) I know that Megazarak was featured in some convention booklet thing, but is that where it states he killed Optimus Prime? Where does it say that the OP he killed is the same OP that Unicron cloned to become Nemesis Prime? Thanks for any help with this.
Also, I'm not sure on the parenthetical disambiguation for this guy. I know there's another Universe Optimus Prime (that yellow Spychanger from the tiny dimension in that voice actor play). --Crockalley 16:34, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- It states it on Nemesis Prime's profile in the club magazine. Most importantly, though, this page shouldn't be at (Universe) because he's not a Universe character. He only shows up in the Fan Club Cybertron comic. --ItsWalky 16:53, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Really, he should be Optimus Prime (Balancing Act), to disambiguate him from Optimus Prime (Cybertron). --ItsWalky 16:54, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Ask Vector Prime / Merge
[edit]If this is the Optimus Prime alluded to in Shell Game, who was killed by Megazarak, then would he be the alternate version of RiD/Viron Optimus? Amalgamous Prime (talk) 01:02, 1 August 2015 (EDT)
- One of the Vector Prime answers noted that the Megazarak who left Optimus Prime and the Matrix by the Rust Sea was from an Aurex stream. Jalaguy (talk) 06:50, 31 July 2015 (EDT)
- I missed that one. So there's this Optimus who was killed by Megazarak and his Matrix was used for the Dead Matrix, and then there was the Optimus Prime that Megazarak was going to, but was pulled into the Universe Conflict. Got it. God I'm starting to have a love-hate relationship with Ask Vector Prime and Universe! Amalgamous Prime (talk) 01:02, 1 August 2015 (EDT)
- Don't blame Vector Prime for this one, there were already (at least) two Megazaraks, one of whom left a Matrix to rot, one of whom was desperately hunting it. --Jimsorenson (talk) 01:04, 1 August 2015 (EDT)
- I'd been doing what I can to keep up, I'm just glad there's finally an end to this complication for me. Thanks! Amalgamous Prime (talk) 03:44, 2 August 2015 (EDT)

I disagree with the merge idea. The fact that he has visual cues from many Optimus bodies from various universes makes me think he should continue to be his own thing. Plus its just cooler.--Giggidy (talk) 16:25, 31 July 2015 (EDT)
- I don't see why we shouldn't merge the pages. Nemesis Prime template Optimus Prime has no distinguishing characteristics that set him far enough apart from his other Aurex doppelgangers. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 03:46, 2 August 2015 (EDT)
- Looks like Ask Vector Prime put this one to bed, comparing it to the G1 vs BW Megatron situation. --Giggidy (talk) 18:43, 24 August 2015 (EDT)
- I still don't like this. Are we going to separate out IDW G1 Star Saber from Victory cartoon Star Saber like this? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 21:33, 24 August 2015 (EDT)

Identity
[edit]Did Vector Prime mention what relation, if any, this Optimus has to Optimus Prime (Armada)? Is he the Optimus of his reality or a separate entity that took his name like Megatron (BW)? We don't know yet? Freakertron (talk) 17:58, 14 September 2015 (EDT)
- This Optimus is a seperate character.--Primestar3 (talk) 18:32, 14 September 2015 (EDT)
- But does that mean that the other Optimus also exists in his reality? Like how G1 and BW Megatron coexist. Freakertron (talk) 22:42, 14 September 2015 (EDT)
- I don't know. I don't think he was ever mentioned in any story.--Primestar3 (talk) 20:58, 16 September 2015 (EDT)

Rename?
[edit]Since the Universe Spychanger Optimus Prime was established as being a Viron incarnation, can this page now be renamed Optimus Prime (Universe)? Freakertron (talk) 20:25, 3 October 2015 (EDT)
- He didn't appear in any Universe fiction, so, no, and why would it be? Balancing Act was branded as a Cybertron comic. --KilMichaelMcC (talk) 21:43, 3 October 2015 (EDT)
- That may or may not be the case, depending on how you look at it. The MegaWing Galvatron instructions in the 3H club magazine mention "Jet Convoy". S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 18:25, 2 December 2015 (EST)
