Talk:Over-Run (Armada)
As Over-Run was packaged in the Universe line (which may contain characters from any continuity but, at least in its first waves, was set in a post-Beast-Machines continuity), and in the Dreamwave comic came from an alternate G1 'verse (With Mini-cons in it, a la Classics), could it be then said that the character is from both the Unicron trilogy and G1 continuity families? At least as far as fiction seems to be concerned.... Banpei the Mini-Con 05:24, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- That sounds overly speculative. We have no idea what the deal is with the Universe Mini-Cons or with the BIAB guys. Chip 05:25, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- Fair enough regarding the Universe toy, but what about the Dreamwave comic? What little we saw of the doomed "Worlds Collide" 'verse suggested that it was some flavour of G1. Banpei the Mini-Con 15:04, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- A lot of TF franchises have G1 homages. You might have noticed a lot in Energon. The Armada cartoon was filled with generics that used G1 model sheets. And seeing as all we know about OR's home universe is a grand total of three beings —one an Optimus Prime (who is kind of a universal constant, and this one was a design never seen before), Over-Run (new dude), and an unnamed generic using a previous model (which the UT did fairly often)— claiming it's G1 in any capacity is wildly speculative. OR's home began and ended entirely within the bounds of the UT continuity family, and Over-Run's out-of-fiction genesis was within the UT as well. --M Sipher 15:16, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Missassembly
[edit]I know that Universe Ultra Magnus is the one famous for being missassembled, but has anyone checked their Overruns that come with him? I have a Takara Crystal Ovverrun and I noticed that Universe overrrun has his wings flipped. The one seen on tfu.info also has that problem.http://higekumatoytoy.blog60.fc2.com/blog-entry-146.html; this site also has a pic of it so I'm wondering if this is as widespread as his partner's arms. Similarly the NIGHTBEAT in this set has the small peice connecting his rear wheel/arm flipped. Anyone know? Edit: The picture shown on his page that was uploaded by ItsWalky ALSO shows the missassembled wings--BlackStarscream 14:38, 17 June 2012 (EDT)
