Talk:Override (Cybertron)
Does anybody remember the rather suggestive bio that came with the 2-pack version of Override? I recall something about her having a private race track, one so private that Hot Shot has been the only outsider to race upon it, or something. --FFN 19:05, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- As leader of the Speed Planet, Override raced mostly on public tracks - roads owned and used by every Speed Planet citizen. But she also has a private refuge, a network of tracks roughly the size of Texas, off limits to the rest of the planet. It is on these roads she races against only her toughest opponent - herself. Now, humbled by her defeat by Hot Shot, and his grace in victory, she has invited her new Autobot ally onto her private roads for a secluded race to truly determine who is the fastest in the galaxy. --FortMax 19:50, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
should it be noted that the override figuer looks like Elita One somewhat?--71.79.69.129 20:39, 3 November 2007 (UTC)vortak

Is the merchandise header really needed? --Tigerpaw28 01:35, 1 April 2009 (EDT)
- There is merchandise of Override. There's a Legends-ish toy of him/her that was available in Japan. --ItsWalky 01:41, 1 April 2009 (EDT)
"Little miss"
[edit]Does that convey any special meaning or is it just coincidence that it is what the robot Andrew in Asimov's story Bicentennial man called the daughter of his owner?--Cyberman 07:24, 10 August 2011 (EDT)
- It's just a phrase. Trying to draw a connection is like saying there's a connection between Dark of the Moon and The Land Before Time because they both have "the" in their titles--even calling it a coincidence is pushing it. --Andrusi 15:15, 8 February 2012 (EST)
Speed Racer?
[edit]From "Notes": "Override's alternate mode of a futuristic race car, as well as its red and white color scheme, evokes the Mach 5 from the Speed Racer series." i agree, but i'm curious if anyone knows whether or not it was deliberate, or subconscious on the part of whoever designed the toy/character model (whichever came first) or chose the deco, or if it was just a coincidence?70.17.204.115 00:46, 8 February 2012 (EST)
- I think if someone meant it to be deliberate, the resemblance would be a lot greater than it is. --abates 00:54, 8 February 2012 (EST)
Re: Nicole Oliver
[edit]Despite having the name "Override" in her resume, might she have instead meant "Joyride?" Dobsondob (talk) 17:56, 17 February 2016 (EST)
- Joyride didn't get a name until the Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime, so...no, not really. -Foffy the Sheep (talk) 18:09, 17 February 2016 (EST)
Legacy Override
[edit]I finally got my Override from Walmart earlier today and I notices an oddity with my copy that doesn't seem to be present in the stock photos. Her right thigh, hip, shoulder internals, and left bicep and heel strut are all a darker shade of red than then rest of her red parts. Has anyone else seen something like this happen? --King Starscream (talk) 19:34, 30 October 2022 (EDT)
Alternative spelling?
[edit]Like apparently the legacy comic separated her name into 2 words. I that noteworthy to mention?Poliwag06 (talk) 10:44, 12 March 2023 (EDT)
Links to other continuities?
[edit]Why is there a link to Override's Animated incarnation on this page? Isn't that what the disambiguation page is for? Metalstar (talk) 14:39, 13 May 2024 (EDT)
