How about adding that sketch by EJ Su where he shows how his G1 Prime's rifle folds away for storage? --FFN 05:50, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Query -- Is the citation of the Ultimate Guide at the end of the sentence "Transformers who use such weapons include Optimus Prime and Jazz" intended to identify the Guide as the source of a photon rifle as the weapon of both Prime and Jazz, or just Jazz? Because Jazz's gun being a photon rifle is in his tech spec, so that doesn't originate with the Guide. Optimus Prime's gun is called a "laser rifle" in the cartoon and his TFU profile and an "ion blaster" by the 20th Anniversary packaging. The citation was just for Jazz, but Optimus Prime's rifle is refered to as a photon rifle in our article on the toy several times. -- SFH 15:25, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Sorry guys. I wrote most of the G1 Prime toy article and I erroneously called his rifle a 'photon' rifle when its actually called (by Hasbro) an Ion Blaster. I just fixed the toy article's references. Oddly, people who contributed to that article afterwards followed my photon blasting lead. --FFN 19:07, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Flame-thrower

Jazz's flame-thrower is a totally different weapon called out in his bio. It just looks like his photon rife (or, more likely, it was erroneously drawn like his photon rifle since his toy doesn't actually come with a flamethrower). - Starfield 00:22, 22 August 2010 (EDT)

Rodimus's rifle

I'm pretty sure that the speed and range in Roddy's Universe profile refer to him in vehicle mode, rather than his rifle. Most other Autobots have speed and range in their Abilities section and it's generally about them, not their weapons. --Emvee (talk) 07:13, 4 February 2021 (EST)
