Energon or Universe?

Over on the official club forums, the old argument is coming up from folks who say that these toys were Universe toys, as opposed to Energon. I do not have ready access to facts which would clear this up (I did send a link to the article page). Does anyone else have better evidence?--G.B. Blackrock 15:40, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Mostly just us folks who were at BotCon when Aaron said they were Energon because the stores didn't want Universe. --ItsWalky 16:30, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. Since I wasn't at that convention (sounds like you're talking about OTFCC '04, since I actually was at BotCon '04, and would have remembered this), I could only point to other sources as evidence, and was having trouble finding it. The wacky Hasbro checklist briefly seen at their website in July 2006 (y'know, the one that revealed names such as "Leaterhide" and "Nightprowler" and the stores various unreleased exclusives had been intended for) listed the "Pirahnacons 6-pack" under "Universe", though, right after the aforementioned "Halloween Horrorcons".--Nevermore 20:19, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
