While the names of the droids are not mentioned on the card, neither is R2-D2 named on every box, but he gets his own page. I see no problem in mentioning the names of the other droids, or perhaps just say "an astromech droid" and then link to the wookeepedia page for them? 198.51.174.14 11:56, 15 March 2010 (EDT)
- If R2-D2 has been named on ANY TF materials, that is enough for him to be named here. It doesn't have to be mentioned on every package. A droid that has never been named in TF materials should not be named on this wiki. Khajidha 12:06, 15 March 2010 (EDT)
- Okay, fair enough, if that's the rule on text. However, to be consistant there are links words "Jedi Starfighter" to the Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor on Wookiepedia, which is not named on the box (BTW it's a Delta-7B, or more specifically the Blade of Dorin). So you we do that than we should be able to put "He has an unnamed Astromech droid", and then that links to R7's wookeepedia page. Right? 198.51.174.14 13:48, 15 March 2010 (EDT)
- We can note that the toy contains whatever. We just can't name it in fictional sections if it hasn't been named. (Of course, we bend this rule sometimes, but what are we going to say about R7-F5?) —Interrobang 16:30, 15 March 2010 (EDT)

Sometimes I really think we're being too strict on this stuff... once again, brainless rigidity in the face of logic. I mean... pretending we know crap about Spider-Man, one of THE most recognized fictional characters around, due to the minimal direct TF exposure, is pretty funny. Minor Star Wars characters? That's taking it too far. I'm totally okay with linking to R7-F5 (if that is the droid... don't a couple of the Jedi have multiples? Like, one from CW, and one from the toyline?) in the toy sections. --M Sipher 16:35, 15 March 2010 (EDT)
- Yeah, pretending we don't know anything about Spider-Man is (was) funny. But refusing to give informative geekiness on actual Transformers toys is kinda dumb and against the point of what we're here to do in the first place. --ItsWalky 17:36, 15 March 2010 (EDT)
