Double Mirror what-now...?

Help me out here, because a mirrorverse double agent is like a triple negative that hurts my brain. Punch is an evil Autobot who occasionally poses as a heroic Decepticon named Counterpunch. As Counterpunch, he approached Skyfall and Powerdasher about doing heroic things and for some reason they didn't shoot him. Then, as Punch, he revealed their "treachery" by showing them consorting with a known Decepticon. So Punch is evil, and disguised himself to set his fellow evil Autobots up to look bad (or "good"), in order to score better ratings for Around Cybertron? Yes it does, basically.

Plus, based on his being the "Decepticon expert", he probably also actively spied on the Decepticons as well to get undercover footage.

And then on one of those missions he got recruited by the Cons and accepted, which means he's a former Autobot who could pretend to be a Decepticon who is now actually is a Decepticon.
