Talk:Rail Racer (RID)
Of Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue( a cheap american rip-off of Kyukyu sentai Go-Go-V), the Supertrain Megazord (copied from Grandliner) was possibly inspired by the above Railroad Rocket/s.
"Rail Rocket/s". Also, the way this reads, it sounds like the Supertrain Megazord was inspired by the Bullet Trains, but the Grandliner somehow wasn't. --FortMax 22:30, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
Coincidentally, Rail Racer was released around the same time as the Grand Liner, a set of trains that combine into a massive robot in the competing Super Sentai line. (Power Rangers fans may know it as the Supertrain Megazord.
Should this be deleted from the page? It's blatantly wrong. Kyukyu Sentai GoGoV aired in 1999, the year before Car Robots. Grand Liner came out a whole year before the JRX team did. Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue (the American adaptation of GoGoV), however, did air in the US in 2000, with Mirai Sentai Timeranger being the Sentai that aired at the same time as Car Robots. Timeranger's adaptation, Power Rangers Time Force, did air at the same time as RID 2001 in the United States. --Digital Collector (talk) 13:38, 7 November 2020 (EST)
