It would appear then that these characters are from a "transitional" period from Generation 1 to the Beast Era... Wouldn't that be transitional from Generation 2 to the Beast Era? It's not like the era of Maximals and Predacons would have happened at the end of G1 with G2 falling into a black hole. -Rotty 20:18, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

G2 is part of said transitional period, being part of G1 but not part of the Beast Era. Given there is zero "G2" marking anywhere on the product, using "G2" would be confusing. --M Sipher 20:41, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
