Oddly, reverse-pretender technology predates Pretender technology by several years. .... Whaaa...? --KilMichaelMcC 22:10, 6 October 2009 (EDT)

Reverse-pretender technology#Generation 1 commercials --FortMax 22:37, 6 October 2009 (EDT)
Yeaaaaah, see, I think we're being ridiculous here. The idea that the kid looking into the camera at the end of a commercial with a silly effect "transforming" them into Magnus or Galvatron is something that should be treated as if it exists in-universe is wrong. Further labeling that with a term which, as far as I can see, was invented twenty years later for the Allspark Almanac, and then claiming that this predated Pretenders? This makes no sense to me. --KilMichaelMcC 22:44, 6 October 2009 (EDT)
We chronicle the information we have, not the information we want to have. --ItsWalky 22:55, 6 October 2009 (EDT)
Until you read the Allspark Almanac's introduction, which says that Reverse-pretender technology was last documented in 1980's Transformers commercials where humans disguised themselves as Ultra Magnus. --FortMax 22:56, 6 October 2009 (EDT)
In that case, this article could use further clarification to that effect. --KilMichaelMcC 23:03, 6 October 2009 (EDT)
