Well fuck. How do we deal with this? --ItsWalky 23:20, 21 January 2010 (EST)
- So the green Skids toy is from the cartoon dimension and Screech is from the Marvel dimension? A cartoon/comic crossover? Cool. If that's right, I think they should go on the same page. How about have green Skids's bio listed on the tail end of the cartoon continuity section and Screech's bio on the end of the Marvel section. - Starfield 23:34, 21 January 2010 (EST)
- In short, no. We split up Galvatron from Megatron because the two spent time coexisting. It's just too... complicated. --ItsWalky 23:41, 21 January 2010 (EST)
- So... Orange Screech is ROTF Skids who dimension-travelled and came to the G1 universe? --Detour 23:48, 21 January 2010 (EST)

- ...no. He's a variant G1 Skids that references a Marvel UK story. --ItsWalky 00:19, 22 January 2010 (EST)
- Marvel UK story? How so? --Detour 00:44, 22 January 2010 (EST)
- The post I linked to links to this wiki. In the UK, Skids got stuck in limbo for forever. When he finally got out 100 issues later, he had Screech's head because of an art mishap. I figgered you woulda at least read the link I gave! --ItsWalky 00:46, 22 January 2010 (EST)
- I did, but I'm not finding the same link you are. Near I can tell from the rather mediocre translation, Screech ended up in the Generation One dimension because of the Generation One Skids' experimentations. Nothing specifies he's from the UK or from the Limbo Dimension, he could very well be the Movieverse Skids referenced in Reign of Starscream, from Energon or even from the Big Looker storybooks. --Detour 00:53, 22 January 2010 (EST)
- Just because my fist doesn't look like a duck doesn't mean it's a dog. Where are you getting that he's from the movieverse? It's not like he's decoed like Movie Skids. He's decoed like Movie Mudflap! And he's definitely in a G1-style body! The simplest solution is that he's a variant G1 Skids, particularly since G1 Skids has had that head before. --ItsWalky 01:02, 22 January 2010 (EST)
- I said the Skids referenced in Reign of Starscream. My point is nothing says he's necessarily the Marvel UK Skids. We've got alternate pages for some dimension/time-hopping Galvatrons, don't we? Screech can keep his own page, since he's a dramatic enough deviation from the original Skids (what with the deliberate name change and all). --Detour 01:21, 22 January 2010 (EST)
- Yeah, I have to say, I don't really think it's particularly explicit that he's supposed to be from the UK universe. He might be, but all we're really basing that on is the fact that this one time, the UK comics accidentally drew Skids with the wrong head. (Me, I'm more curious as to whether or not "Skids's experiments" is a reference to his investiation into the manipulation of time and space from the Binatech story). - Chris McFeely 07:23, 22 January 2010 (EST)
- I never said he was FROM the UK universe. I was merely saying that this was a reference to that UK story. And I see no reason to be obtuse about it in the writeup. --ItsWalky 12:28, 22 January 2010 (EST)
- OK, he isn't necessarily from Marvel UK, but have we decided he is from a G1 alternate universe, and not the movie or some unnamed unrelated universe? - Starfield 16:54, 22 January 2010 (EST)

- That would make ROTF Skids an alternate-dimension version of G1 Skids. If ROTF was the mirror-verse of Generation 1 that would actually make sense. - Starfield 00:10, 22 January 2010 (EST)
Toy oddities.
[edit]Does anyone know what the odd holes on Screech's bonnet are? As far as I can tell, they're not present on any other Honda City mold release. Also, anyone know why the toy has the City Turbo grill sticker instead of the City R one? Has the design been lost or were Takara just lazy? RavenG (talk) 10:32, 2 November 2019 (EDT)
