WRECKERS #4 script
[edit]So the original planned script for Wreckers #4 has been posted on-line by 3H, which includes Sentinel Maximus's "origin sequence". Is that "official" enough for the bio or even a Trivia mention, or like Alignment will it not be referenced by the Wiki? --Xaaron 19:03, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Since it was never officially released, and it's already been stated that the new ending to the story will merely contain elements of it rather than being the same thing, I'd say it probably shouldn't be anything more than a trivia mention. -- Dark T Zeratul 19:38, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- According to the Allspark's blurb about the script, "Although its contents will be incorporated into the Club's final installment, this will be the only opportunity to read the full dialogue and enjoy writer Rob Gerbracht's vision in this post-Beast Machines adventure." I don't think that means that any of the script will be nullified by the Club story. It sounds to me like the story will acknowledge that things happened and then move on from there. (The blurb doesn't say, "SOME of its contents..." It just says, "its contents.") Whatever the story mentions will be at that point canon - probably including Sent-Max's origin, but we'll have to wait and see. Whatever DOESN'T get referenced, though, I think should still be included in Trivia or something, but that's very much just my opinion. Our policy, taken at its strictest, would fully exclude anything not mentioned in the Fan Club story.
- For what it's worth, I wouldn't be opposed to an "Apocrypha" section that could cover things that fall just short of canon. "Alignment," "Last Days of Optimus Prime," Wreckers #4... these are stories that, while not part of the "truth" of the TFverse, still have their effects ON the TFverse. To deny their existence seems... anti-informative.

- I guess it also hinges on if this ever got officially approved by Hasbro or not. Shy of the four comic pages printed in the mag, I'm not sure it ever was. --M Sipher 19:59, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- I would put the unpublished portions of the Wreckers script in italics and inside parenthesis inside the fiction section, where chronologically logical, and note that the script wasn't published. --ItsWalky 20:04, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
