Talk:Serpent O.R.
Over lunch, Steve-o and LV! figgered Serpent O.R. is probably different enough from the original Serpentor to get his own page. I guess having a totally different origin, the the point of not even being a Cobra creation and being the technorganic son of Megatron helps that along. But, hey, discuss. --ItsWalky 00:37, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
...What the hell is a Serpent O.R. when it's at home?--TheTurnipKing 06:26, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
Well I think they ought to be regarded as the same guy. Trivialities about their creation aside, they have (from what I know) pretty indistinguishable personalities and MO. The only real difference is one happens to have shades of Nightbird. BUT really it's not a big issue since I don't know of any reason why Serpentor (the squsihy, non-robot one) would have an article. I don't recall him ever making any appearance to impact on the other crossovers. And I don't think the Devil's Due series is going to have two Serpentors any time soon. THIS I COMMAND.--Zodberg 20:03, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- Serpentor was in the original Marvel crossover. He shook hands with Shockwave. --ItsWalky 20:10, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- Two synthetric super-generals. One is made of super-DNA, the other fo cuper-science. Meh.
- You can give them seperate pages if you want- but you should do so witht he understandign that this is very mch liek giving Galvatron 1 qnd Galvatron II seperate pages. They are (on some level) shades of the same character, but we're seperatign the entries for clarity. -207.224.69.213 07:04, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
- ...but Galvatron and Galvatron II do have separate pages. --ItsWalky 07:16, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
- Exactly. "If you seperatee them, it's the same situation. They're both versions og Galvatron/Serpentor, we jsut put them on seperate pages for clarity." -207.224.69.213 17:46, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
I've changed my mind on this. I did a while ago, but figgered I'd get to it now. We have so many characters that have disparate, completely-different origins all contained on the same page. There's no reason we should split our Serpentors. --ItsWalky 00:51, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
