This was in Real World References

  • The way Optimus was infected by the plague was similar to how Frank was infected by the rage virus in the film 28 Days Later.

I have said this a few times, but I'll say it again. Similar situations aren't references. If there's a chance that the similarities are an accident, odds are it's not a reference.

Yeah, we have a cool userpage template for that. It makes my life happy:
{{#if: Hot Rod facepalm UK187.png |

}} | }}

{{ #if: "EVERY place reminds you of some place else." |"EVERY place reminds you of some place else."
|}}

Two unrelated things may have some kind of vague, remote, tiny, tenuous similarity, but that alone does not a reference make. Please try to avoid grasping at straws. {{ #if: |{{ #if: |  |
}} talk page.
|}}

{{#if: ||}}

{{#ifeq: Talk||}}{{#ifeq: Talk|File|}}

Thank you for that. That picture made my day. Now i think it's time to remove the Saving Private Ryan "reference" from Darkness Rising part IV

Terrorcons

[edit]

Should the category of Others be added to mark the Terrorcons appeareance in the flashback?

The collapsing dreamworld: A thought.

[edit]

Perhaps what we saw was a virtual reality representation of the data constantly streaming in Megatron's CPU(his subconscious), which was registering as brainwave activity on the monitor. For this entire time he had no idea he was even alive. The Cortical Psychic Patch may have allowed his CPU to interpret the random bursts of data as sensory for the first time since the explosion. Thoughts brought to life, you could say. What if his world was black oblivion and basic thoughts until Bumblebee jumped into his head? Remember, he gave indication that he thought he was in the Well of Allsparks and came to realize that wasn't the case when he figured out the CPP.

In that vein, can you blame Megatron for freaking out when the psychic patch plug was pulled? His only means of being aware in his damaged state was being yanked away. He got so desperate to regain full consciousness that he threw himself at Bumblebee. He may have thought he failed until he realized he was still self-aware.

Just a thought that might explain the collapsing dreamworld.

"No character transforms"

[edit]

Is not necessarily true. Bumblebee, if not he and Arcee both, drive through the ground bridge onto the Nemesis, and transform as soon as they're through. You can *barely* see Bumblebee in car mode, but his sumersault into robot mode is obvious. Furthermore, the sound effects - transformation, preceded by a car driving - give it away. Does this count, or shall we just leave it? - Sntint/AIan, not logged in. Possibly gotta make a new account, but not right now. 108.17.149.103 00:21, 21 July 2012 (EDT)
