"Package art for the figure published in Legacy: The Art of Transformers Packaging revealed that it would have had decals of a sunrise/sunset on the vehicle mode hood and doors." Any chance this means that it would have been a new version of Sunstreaker?--Khajidha (talk) 11:58, 19 June 2019 (EDT)

To give a late response to this question, I am not actually certain the rare discoveries of fragmentary information on sunset Sideswipe have ever uncovered the label 'Sideswipe'. This does raise another issue. Should the original G2 concept remain confined to the "Notes" section at the bottom of this page, or should it get a full entry under the "Generation 2" header? Admittedly, doing the latter might give a mistaken impression of how solid Hasbro was on the idea, but to be fair, sunset Sideswipe did get to the packaging art stage before being scrapped. G2 Siege

A pic on TFW2005 indicates that the Siege "Autobot Alphastrike Counterforce" Sideswipe is a clone not the original Sideswipe.

Kingdom Sideswipe clearance issues and workaround; should they be mentioned?

I was messing around with my Kingdom Sideswipe and noticed that his “abdomen” was scraping across the ground in vehicle mode. I was able to remedy this by spinning his head around and now he rolls like a dream. IMO it feels like a step left out of the instructions. I’ve seen other people complain about this and wondered if it’s important enough to be mentioned under the Kingdom section. Thoughts?Brickmaster57 (talk) 19:37, 24 March 2024 (EDT)

I've just transformed both my Kingdom Sideswipe and GS Deep Cover (to have one of each version), and both of them roll the same. Which is to say, no scraping. All of the parts involved in this part of the transformation are the same between the Siege and Kingdom versions, so I'm not sure how the retool could make a difference. The head, the tummy, the underside of the hood -- these are all identical pieces. None of the new parts interact with this. --ItsWalky (talk) 21:38, 24 March 2024 (EDT)
