Disambiguation

[edit]

I realize that there are not 3 actual Skystalkers, but there are many other names that could easily be confused with it. Is the 3 characters sharing a name an absolute rule or a more general guide? The following may need disambiguating with Skystalker: Denebian Stalker, Stalker, Nightstalker, Snowstalker, and Sparkstalker. Also Luke Skywalker and Skyscorcher seem very similar (more so than all the other "Sky" names anyways). Not disagreeing with the change to the disambig, just asking for clarification. We don't generally try to cover all the various non-exact-same things a given character could be confused with at the top of every character article. That way leads down the path to madness. --ItsWalky 14:51, 15 October 2009 (EDT)

Alt mode?

[edit]

Anyone know what his alt-mode is? Heard someone mention it's WWII era? Would that make him only the second WWII vehicle behind G2 Ransack? --76.28.72.27 14:58, 15 October 2009 (EDT)

Sincerely doubt it's WWII. Look at the jet intakes on the wings. Khajidha 15:12, 15 October 2009 (EDT)
He looks like a blend of the Dassault nEUROn UAV and the BAE Corax UAV. - RolonBolon 23:06, 22 October 2009 (EDT)
There is the Horten Ho 229 which was a prototype fighter/bomber developed in the later years of World War II.
what about the RQ-170_Sentinel?
Is he just supposed to be a drone instead of a plane? The interaction with Mindwipe and the optic in place of a cockpit seems to suggest so. 147.140.233.17 10:07, 3 March 2010 (EST)
Drones don't enjoy things. Khajidha 10:43, 3 March 2010 (EST)
Oops. No I don't mean a drone, personality wise. I mean his alt mode is a drone. Like it's something a person wouldn't man. It's just a machine that flies. 147.140.233.17 11:04, 3 March 2010 (EST)
Yeah, he's something similar to this. --ItsWalky 11:26, 3 March 2010 (EST)
The engine intakes seem to be derived from the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit.--Nevermore 06:24, 25 February 2011 (EST)
Oh hey, and those zigzap patterns? F-22 Raptor.--Nevermore 06:34, 25 February 2011 (EST)
The B-2 bomber (previous link) also has zigzag patterns. --ItsWalky 09:35, 25 February 2011 (EST)
I'm talking about those sculpted details. I've checked a bunch of photos of different planes, including the B-2, and the only model where I've seen them featured that prominently is the F-22.--Nevermore 10:18, 25 February 2011 (EST)

Undocumented Weapon Feature

[edit]

Any word on what functions the clips on the two axes serve, so we can document it here? They're not used in either of Skystalker's modes that I can tell, and there doesn't appear to be anywhere to clip them onto Mindwipe.--Apcog 14:44, 17 April 2010 (EDT)

Don't they just clip onto his forearms as an alternative to putting the posts into his palms? --Khajidha 15:08, 17 April 2010 (EDT)
Do they? Mine's elsewhere just now, so I can't check directly, but as far as I can recall, it didn't look feasible.--Apcog 15:31, 17 April 2010 (EDT)
Yep. --Khajidha 15:36, 17 April 2010 (EDT)
Okay, having retrieved mine, I can see it does work that way, but the axes end up poking out under the hands, is all. Bit like hooked tonfa. I'll make a note in the article.--Apcog 18:44, 17 April 2010 (EDT)
I don't have him, but I'm understanding that other Basics (and some Deluxes) can use his weapons via the clips? -hx 19:23, 17 April 2010 (EDT)

He is not purple though

[edit]

His head is Shockwave's. That's all.
