I keep trying to add captions but they’re getting removed? Trying to help thanks —The preceding unsigned comment was added by It Is Him (talkcontribs).

Read your talk page. Adding captions is not helpful. Stop. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 12:33, 1 July 2021 (EDT)

I don’t follow. I’ve been adding captions for a few years now. Are my small contributions not appreciated? Not trying to vandalize here just want to participate in a limited joyful capacity —The preceding unsigned comment was added by It Is Him (talkcontribs).

Getting to add captions is meant to be a reward for people who contribute actual content, and it shouldn't be the only thing you do on the wiki. They're a privilege, not a right. An image not having a caption isn't an open invitation to add one if you haven't been putting in the actual work. And you're definitely not supposed to be replacing other people's captions with your own unless they're offensive. All of this is clearly stated on our help page for captions. The only reason you've been able to do it up until now is because people haven't noticed, but that doesn't mean it isn't against the rules. If you're only here to add jokes and not to add to the actual page content, you're better off going somewhere else. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 13:00, 1 July 2021 (EDT)
