- I don't think it'll need a merge. Maybe we'll write a brief blurb, explaining how different he is in the IDW universe, and link off to that other guy's article. Like how we did for Minimus Ambus and most of his appearances being as Ultra Magnus. --Ascendron (talk) 16:32, 17 August 2016 (EDT)

- I don't know about that. Given John Barber's words in the Revolutionaries interview, it seems Sovereign is some kind of personality/program that takes over and he'll be trying to repress Sovereign, that could mean he'll still go by his usual name. I can't really think any Transformers with split personalities that we could cite as precedent though. --DannyBoy (talk) 15:39, 6 September 2016 (EDT)
- The Vehicon generals, perhaps? Silverbolt/Jetstorm in particular might be the best way to look at things: info can stay on Blackrock's page up to White Light, and Sovereign's exploits are covered here until he's repressed/Blackrock "regains control". After that, we'll need to see how Revolutionaries plays with this idea of Blackrock and Sovereign wresting for control to determine what info would go where.
