[edit]Did the Quintessons kill the Autobots strung up on the walls of Autobot City or can they be revived later?
Plot holes?
[edit]Re-read the story for the first time in years and years and a couple of things really bothered me, though I am not sure if they reach the threshold of errors. - The Quints' entire plan to invade Autobot City: Earth hinges on Arcee getting bored and neglecting her duty; how did they find out she was (in this one bad story) so stupid and why is AC:E so completely dependent on her literally spotting a huge invading space fleet? Seeing as they brute force their way in anyway it's crazy. - Rodimus spots Arcee mid-sentence while spouting orders to Kup, Blurr, Smokescreen and Wideload, who just pay no attention to him getting distracted and losing the Matrix to Ghyrrik. - The same Quint troopers who can handle Grimlock, Blades, Blaster, Air Raid, Wheeljack, Kup and a ton of other Tier 1 Autobots are no match for Rewind, Ramhorn and Steeljaw. By the same token, Shadow XGX-9, that use of language is NOT acceptable on the wiki. - I apologise if the language was unacceptable, though having someone plainly not read questions and misinterpreting them is galling. And it wasn't a leap, FWIW.
- On-topic, are those plot holes? I recently acquired the Marvel run through a house clearance and have enjoyed reading them again; I'd love to start having a look at adding to the various pages as it would be fun to get the issue pages here up to the sort of exhaustive nature of the G1 toon pages (most already are, of course) but if "checking if I've missed something before adding possibly inaccurate information into articles means the questions get obliterated" is the level of dialogue considered acceptable here it's probably not worth anyone's time and effort. - None of those are really plot holes. I haven't read the story in sometime but I don't think that's what their plan hinges on, it's just a coincidence Ghyrik takes advantage of. Rodimus gets distracted, the role of the other characters in the story doesn't mean they have to respond. The Quintessons took the other Autobots by surprise; the cassettes had time to prepare.
