Dud Spud

Just kinda booting up discussion, re: Series 6's "Dud Spud" blatantly being Spud Muffin deco straight-up, just with a new face. I am idly thinking of prodding the writers about this, as it KINDA feels like it's possible some of the S6 bots changed names between show and toy release; namely (ha ha) Spud Muffin/Dud Spud and Wishy-Waffley/Wafflenetic. I mean I ain't gonna object to listing Dud as a separate character if the writers don't have any kind of corroborating evidence for SM being listed in Series 6. --M Sipher (talk) 23:05, 30 October 2022 (EDT)

Okay, minor update, https://twitter.com/MSipher/status/1589451675085189120. Noted differences in toy. Greg Hahn replies, not super-privy to toy goings-on. Since been noticed that Dud's catalog photo is a very different deco, also Veggietron's catalog photo AND box art are basically Burgertron colors. Veggie should still be a separate character because of the end result (it should def be noted they likely started out as a Burgertron V2), not convinced either way about Dud yet though. I say we err on the side of caution and just give Dud Spud a separate page, with the appropriate note saying that Dud Spud and Spud Muffin could very well possibly be the same character, but that we just don't know for sure either way. --Sabrblade (talk) 22:58, 6 November 2022 (EST)
