Did this... "No, his fate was to become a cloud - a cloud of ionized gas, evaporated by an exploding Energon Sun." ....actually happen in the cartoon? I don't remember any combiner limb destruction having anything at all to do with the Energon Sun. --KilMichaelMcC 20:30, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

Duly noted and repaired. Actually this is one of the (many many) Energon episodes that I missed, and I had pieced this together from hearsay and faulty memories of what had happened. I should have known better, since IIRC their fight took place inside Cybertron. I suppose Cybertron didn't blow up with the Energon Sun. 3D Battle-Card

Sooooooooooooooooooo... how do we want to handle this? I'm thinking the card should actually be under Energon Stormcloud, since the Japanese version DID have Vortex's Japanese name. We can -and should- certainly Trivia or Disambig to Stormcloud from here, though. though this does bring into question the Quake-like "Blitzwing". --M Sipher 18:16, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

"Blitzwing's" data card explicitly includes G1 Blitzwing nods. "Commando Strike," "Electron Scimitar," etc. "Vortex" doesn't have much of anything that I can *directly* connect to G1 Vortex - a "cyclone" attack that's roughly similar to what Vortex's tech specs describe, but no "rapid fire glue gun." The "minigun blaster" and "triple blaster" vaguely resemble G1 Vortex's accessories, but it's a stretch. This guy is about as much G1 Vortex as Movie Incinerator is. I'm tempted to just have "Vortex (Energon Wars)" and be done with it. -hx 21:41, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
