Are we now distinguishing between BW shows? I thought that, by default, we were using BW for beast-era? Or is (BW) jsut the catchall for anything ambiguious that falls witin the beast era?-71.37.253.98 10:41, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Fixed. --ItsWalky 15:36, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
So, no (BWN) and (BWII) then? I saw that Magmatron and Ratorwhatever had been moved to have (BWN), so I changed some disambiguation page links, but if we're just sticking with plain (BW) for II and Neo guys, I'll change those back. --KilMichaelMcC 17:33, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Alias

[edit]

"He is also known as Tasmanian Kid." - Where? None of the Fiction sections use this name. --flicky1991 03:33, 16 September 2018 (EDT)

Beast Wars Sourcebook --Sabrblade (talk) 08:23, 16 September 2018 (EDT)
I did see "TASMANIAN-KID" on Data File-002 of volume 1 of the collected Beast Wars II manga. Could that have been the original source of the spelling? --Bag of Magic Food (talk) 04:25, 8 May 2020 (EDT)

BW Snarl?

[edit]

So when his legacy toy was revealed at the con someone said something about "or snarl in the west" or something. Did they intend for this fig to be repurposed as bw snarl, and created a whole nother Wheeljack/Slicer situation again?Poliwag06 (talk) 02:57, 23 September 2023 (EDT)

I think this is more like the situation with Masterforce, where the same toys were released in different regions with different names and are treated as being different characters. Such was the case here, where the same toy was released as Snarl in the US and Tasmania Kid in Japan. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 16:28, 23 September 2023 (EDT)
I feel like when the character designs of the original guys are literally identical, there's no harm in having a United section on Snarl's page that links out to United Tasmania Kid. --Riptide (talk) 16:33, 23 September 2023 (EDT)
