So, this page is very flattering, but I'm not 100% sure The Ark Addendum should be covered in such detail. It is, after all, unofficial. I mean, the MODELS are official, of course, but The Ark Addendum branding I put around it is not.--Jimsorenson 11:25, 22 December 2009 (EST)
- Hmmm... It sure looks official, using the Ark name and all. I wouldn't have guessed. It isn't sanctioned by IDW or Hasbro? - Starfield 12:50, 22 December 2009 (EST)
- 'Sanctioned' is a funny word. Let's just say it's not officially licensed by Hasbro. I don't actually think it's 100% cut-and-dried, if we should torch it. The models ARE official Hasbro content, after all, presented by a Hasbro licensee (well, contractor to a Hasbro licensee, but then that's pretty much the same as anything by Furman or Wyatt or whatnot.) It's just presented in a context that's a bit different. I think it's worth a debate, anyway. --Jimsorenson 13:10, 22 December 2009 (EST)
- It's sticky, to be sure. We're not entirely devoid of official-yet-never-officially-published content--G1 Blades' main pic, for example. Nor are we even devoid of unofficial content by official creators, a la Alignment.
- Plus on top of that, I'm not sure it's hugely different from, say, us having Animated Hot Shot's bio pic here, as it's also official content given to an unofficial source to display.
- I'd probably be willing to give a tentative Keep vote. At the worse, I think we'd at least want to keep a link to the main Blog section, even if we remove the individual links. --Jeysie 13:22, 22 December 2009 (EST)
- As you said, Jim, you're basically working for Hasbro. This isn't a case of someone leaking stolen information. I'd say this is something that is basically aboveboard and should be kept. Khajidha 13:56, 22 December 2009 (EST)
