Talk:The Iron Klaw

This summary assumes that it was an "unseen speaker" talking about the Iron Grenadiers on the last page, but I read it as Ironblood speaking as he entered the room; otherwise it feels like a bit of a non-sequitur for Iron Klaw to go straight to talking to Ironblood. Anyone else read this differently? --Riptide (talk) 08:29, 17 May 2017 (EDT)
- Yeah, I took it to be Ironblood too. I mean, the bubble comes from over Klaw's left shoulder, and then in the next panel he's looking over his left shoulder at Ironblood. I think the Grenadiers are just Ironblood's thing in this universe - he's clearly going to be commanding them in First Strike, going off the covers. Jalaguy (talk) 08:36, 17 May 2017 (EDT)
- It was my initial read, but Ironblood suddenly talking so disrespectfully to the Klaw seemed very strange, and the obvious Destro connection rang loud to me (claiming ownership of the Grenadiers). I mean I could be wrong, but he's even "seeded" by being shown in a flashback that is, on the face of it, completely unrelated to the story. Unless... Destro is Ironblood... - Chris McFeely (talk) 08:37, 17 May 2017 (EDT)
- Oh, and the summary needs correcting about the Talisman, beeteedubs - the Revolutionaries still have the real one after issue #2, Team Iron are using a simulacrum. Jalaguy (talk) 08:40, 17 May 2017 (EDT)
- oh yeah, d'oh! A wee look at the First Strike cover actually shows Destro and Ironblood together, btw, so I'd presume my guess isn't correct, but does explain the Grenadiers presence, ranked along with the Red Shadows ninjas. Not sure how to play this one... maybe i'll just take it to the notes. - Chris McFeely (talk) 08:45, 17 May 2017 (EDT)

Baron Ironblood
[edit]Admittedly I haven't read the actual issue and only skimmed this article, but why is the Baron listed twice in the "Featured Characters" box? --Khajidha (talk) 08:30, 17 May 2017 (EDT)
- Cocked it up. - Chris McFeely (talk) 08:37, 17 May 2017 (EDT)
