Is this really an audiobook, or is that category an error? Khajidha 00:12, 7 December 2009 (EST)

So... the Autobot ship had too much weight, causing it problems in the weightlessness of space? I don't want to go adding this to the errors or anything and find out I flunk high school physics forever, but... it sure sounds like an error to me. Luke 13:54, 8 March 2010 (EST)

Keeping in mind that the ship most likely has some form of artificial gravity, so the cargo would have weight while aboard the ship. Plus, it didn't say that it was too heavy. For all we know, Grimlock's extra cargo could have knocked around and damaged the interior of the ship. Keeping in mind that I don't have the book and am going by the synopsis. -- Semysane 14:02, 8 March 2010 (EST)
Most likely, what was meant was that the extra MASS made for extra use of maneuvering power at sublight speeds. Mass is the same as resistance to inertia, so extra mass would cause problems when moving around inside a solar system at sublight speed. Khajidha 14:17, 8 March 2010 (EST)
The book is reproduced at the URL at the bottom of the article. Kup warns against putting too much weight on the ship, though it's not explained why the extra weight causes so much problems later. --abates 14:40, 8 March 2010 (EST)
It may have just been poorly secured and come loose during maneuvering. Regardless, breach hull, all die. See, it's right here. Even had it underlined. -hx 18:38, 8 March 2010 (EST)

parents

[edit]

Since this is supposed to take place in something similar to the Marvel continuity, were Wheelie's parents both "male"? It is explicitly stated in the Marvel material that there were no female Transformers until the creation of Arcee to appease human feminists. Is this worthy of note, for if it is, it would make his parents the first canon homosexual cybertronian couple. Stevo 19:38, 10 October 2011 (EDT)

This does not take place in Marvel continuity. Even if it did, it would just be considered an inconsistency between two writers, not a suggestion of dual-male parenting, as awesome as that would be. --ItsWalky 20:05, 10 October 2011 (EDT)
