Talk:Things Fall Apart, Part 1: "New Arrivals, Old Encounters"
So many caption possibilities: "And nine months later, little Daniel was born." - Starfield 22:36, 3 December 2009 (EST)
- "Whoa, more than one thing in this image says 'Welcome'!" --ItsWalky 22:38, 3 December 2009 (EST)
- I wanted the caption more to point out the hypocrisy of Schmidt "dumbing down" Continuum to attract more elementary school kids to buy the Transformers comics, and then approving a booty call scene for the opening scene of the second issue. --Detour 00:04, 4 December 2009 (EST)
- It'll go on multiple pages. Spike's. Spike's booty call. Welcome mat. --ItsWalky 00:55, 4 December 2009 (EST)
- Seriously, something about the Rob Liefeld School of Female Anatomy. (didn't Don actually get hired by Liefeld at some point in the past, or am I thinking of SUPERSTAR?) And incidentally, my parents didn't want me even going INTO comic shops as a kid because of art like that. Heh. -hx 09:15, 4 December 2009 (EST)
- It was SUPERSTAR who was mentored by Liefeld. Don, on the other hand, draws feet. --ItsWalky 12:31, 4 December 2009 (EST)
- Yeah, my criticism wouldn't be that there's a hot chick there, but rather, if you want a hot chick in your comic, don't let Don draw her. - Chris McFeely 12:26, 4 December 2009 (EST)
- I dunno, she doesn't look bad to me. Don't like big booty? --MistaTee 17:19, 11 December 2009 (EST)

Look Alike
[edit]Ugh, isn't that just Hot Spot? User:Eire 17.11 Dec 12 09 (UTC)
- Nope. "Movie Prime lookalike with Primal's head" clearly has an orange chest. Hot Spot has a red chest. MPLWPH has grey arms. Hot Spot has light-blue arms. ---Blackout- 12:27, 12 December 2009 (EST)
- I'm pretty sure that's Hot Spot regardless. --ItsWalky 12:57, 12 December 2009 (EST)
- So now we are making automatic assumptions based on absolutely no evidence. ---Blackout- 13:22, 12 December 2009 (EST)
- He looks like Hot Spot. That's the same evidence we used to deduce everyone else who wasn't named. --ItsWalky 13:27, 12 December 2009 (EST)
- He has Hot Spot's tradition horns. He's relatively blue. The window panes on his chest looks like Hot Spot (especially his Marvel character model). The wheels next to his head fit the character model, too. If that chestpiece was properly colored red instead of orange, there wouldn't be any question. Hot Spot is the best choice. --Xaaron 15:35, 12 December 2009 (EST)

Who else?
[edit]Can we identify the characters on the monitor Ratchet and Cliffjumper are looking at? From L-R it looks to me like Jetfire, Cosmos, Sideswipe, Prowl, Road Rocket, Silverstreak and Mirage. --Xaaron 15:35, 12 December 2009 (EST)
- It's Hot Rod's team, plus 1 extra. Sandstorm's head is identifiable, but not sure who is to the right of Jetfire.--MistaTee 23:48, 12 December 2009 (EST)
- I don't know. Those shoulder wheels are pretty distinguishable as Road Rocket. (Xaaron at work) --136.174.187.10 11:05, 17 December 2009 (EST)
- Sandstorm has some pretty hefty shoulder wheels too. see pic. I think the real answer is we'll have to wait and see, cuz the monitor pic is not that great, though Sandstorm makes more sense to me since he was mentioned.--MistaTee 15:02, 17 December 2009 (EST)
- Road Rocket's wheels sit entirely differently on his shoulders, though -- Sandstorm's wheelwells face to the side, while RR's face forward...like that picture. --Xaaron 08:30, 18 December 2009 (EST)

And whilst i'm here...
[edit]Whilst i'm here I notice, again, in the items of note for 'New arrivals, old encounters' somebody removed my comment explaining why the Autobots begin democratically electing leaders (because of Prime's throwaway line in Spotlight: Prowl where he says that a chain of command is for a military unit and their objectives have been achieved- now, whilst looking at a rebuilt statue of liberty, Prime thinks they should become more democratic). I cannot see why this was deleted- its a perfectly pheasible explaination. I'd've understood an edit or so- my writing is not upto scratch for the wiki i'll admitt- but the comment was just deleted. Please someone with some crediblity explain this to me or rectify the situation. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 91.85.166.143 (talk • contribs) 18:27, 11 December 2010 (EST).
Right... I'm glad I'm in IP address mode and didn't hear that. --66.82.9.75 13:30, 4 June 2011 (EDT), did I mention I'm Kaon_Prisoner?
Jazz
[edit]On a different subject, Where the hell is jazz during all of this?Springer Prime 09:55, 4 September 2013 (EDT)
- He's around somewhere in the cave. He shows up "onscreen" for the first time in issue #5. The ongoing is super-guilty of having hordes of Autobots apparently sitting around doing nothing off-panel. Jalaguy 11:12, 4 September 2013 (EDT)
