Talk:Thrust (Armada)
I'm not really sure that Thrust's minor involvement with Unicron in the cartoon really qualifies him for the Unicron-Related Characters category. If it does, then you'd have to add Starscream (G1) to that category as well, in addition to just about every other character who's encountered the Chaos Bringer and not died/killed him. - Dark T Zeratul 11:31, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thrust allied himself with Sideways, betrayed the Decepticons, and became a servant of Unicron. That qualifies as "related" in my book --KilMichaelMcC 11:42, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Problem
[edit]How Thrust appeared in Energon? Only Energon can reborn him. His power obsession went to Starscream in Cybertron series. Starscream started copying him in Transformers Cybertron. Show an image of Thrust in Energon. I never seen Fucking Thrust in Energon.
Where is Thrust in Energon? Show a photo of Thrust in ENERGON due to OH MY GOSH! UNICRON KILLED THRUST! (Spearhead 03:45, 7 October 2007 (UTC))
- Okay, look. I need someone to comfirm for me that this is all from one person, and at first he wasn't just logged in. I cannot accept that this level of stupid is coming from more than one person. Chip 03:54, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- It's all the guy currently logged in as Sideways. --FortMax 03:55, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
No seriously I'm not the IP Jumper who this wiki blocked. I'm his brother. And prove Thrust has appeared in the Energon series.(Spearhead 05:39, 7 October 2007 (UTC))
- I'm not buying you the damn comics. Prove it to yourself. Chip 04:26, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- I imagine that
SidewaysSideways's "brother" is confused between the comic and the cartoon. Interrobang 04:38, 8 October 2007 (UTC)- Clearly. And since this is the talk page for an article which makes it very clear which events happen in which continuity, I'm not going to hold his hand through the magical world of reading comprehension. No room for the weak, as Grimlock would say. Chip 05:49, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- I imagine that
Pictures?
[edit]Do we want more? I have something like 10k screencaps of Armada, I'm sure that I an find a few of Thrust. :P—The preceding unsigned comment was added by BlackStarscream (talk • contribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.
Dropped/Altered Feature?
[edit]I noticed today that on the outside of Thrust's toy's arms, there are small holes towards the end. They're about identical in size to the ones on Inferno (and the one that connect to the plate on his back) and can hold Inferno's gun. But that's not all. The guns on his legs seem to have pegs the size of which seem like they would in fact fit into these holes (they seem to fit into Inferno's pegholes on his arms, but they're too short to be sure). Furthurmore above the guns (about where his knees would be) there are another set of pegholes. Combined with the fact that in the show he was shown holding his leg guns a few times, I beleive there's a distinct possibility that the leg guns were originally meant to be held by pegs/pegholes in vehicle mode, and be attached to Thrust's arms in bot mode. Should we write it into the toy section?--BlackStarscream 02:42, 17 June 2013 (EDT)
Another dropped feature?
[edit]The above mentioned bit about the launchers has been confirmed several times, but I still wonder about the jet canopy/dangling butt-skirt. It seems like it may have been originally designed to pull out and rotate up onto his back to get it out of the way in robot mode and rotate down and attach to the legs to stabilize the attack mode (the way it is permanently mounted now). Anybody know who we could ask? --Khajidha (talk) 11:13, 6 April 2018 (EDT)
