Moved discussion from "Talk: Insecticon-like Titan Hunter"
[edit]I really don't get the use of Bombshock for this article. I mean, I see the explanation in the notes, but I still don't understand the choice. If this character even needs an article, surely there's a better choice? I think even something like "Prime Insecticon-style Titan Hunter" would be better than the wiki slapping an actual name on this guy, even with the Nameless template there it just strikes me as wrong. --KilMichaelMcC 12:39, 25 July 2013 (EDT)
- Yeah, I agree that it's kind of weird. I mean, I can't personally think of something better, that's also concise, but I do feel this needs a new name. Jalaguy 12:45, 25 July 2013 (EDT)
- I feel like if you have to disambig your made-up nickname for a dude, you're doing it wrong. - Chris McFeely 13:52, 25 July 2013 (EDT)
- "I this character even needs an article" is the bigger issue, I think. Cuz... I don't really think he does, unless he later does more than just show up in the background. --M Sipher 14:10, 25 July 2013 (EDT)
- I'm not that attached to the name; it's just something I threw in there to give the article a title. But if this guy only showing up in the background is a problem, then we'd have to delete dozens, if not hundreds of articles, including other Titan Hunters. Mimi 15:45, 25 July 2013 (EDT)
- We're talking about the difference between, say, Armada "Christmas Maximus", a guy who is a model cameo who does things and plays a role in a scene, and that one crowd-filler Mini-Con who uses G1 Wheelie's model. Guess which one doesn't have a page. Does this Insecticon-like dude do anything besides show up in the crowd in one panel? Does he have dialogue? And frankly, deleting "Blitzving" does not automatically strike me as a bad idea. Maybe these tiny nameless cameos are better called out as parts of the larger "Titan Hunters" article rather than as individual pages. --M Sipher 16:21, 25 July 2013 (EDT)
- I won't disagree with that. - Chris McFeely 17:21, 25 July 2013 (EDT)

Name of page
[edit]Isn't wiki policy to have page names of groups as the singular form where applicable? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 16:15, 5 October 2015 (EDT)
