Talk:Toxicity
Insecticon sentience
[edit]It seems that Hardshell is not the only Insecticon to have a name... which makes me wonder, can we consider the Insecticons to be sentient beings or not? (it's important because that'd make them have certain rights such as freedom and stuff) Rayqui 04:42, 28 May 2012 (EDT)
- I definitely do not agree that Hardshell is talking to someone named "Scurrydown". It sounds like "Stay down" to me, but almost any phrase with "---- down" there makes more sense than fabricating a name for a generic nonentity. -LV 02:29, 29 May 2012 (EDT)
- Yeah, I think this is probably something we ought to wait for more concrete evidence on. Also, re the original question, I kinda assumed they were sentient when they all spoke at the end of Armada. --abates 03:54, 29 May 2012 (EDT)
- The Netflix airing subtitling refers to the insecticon with a proper name. Not that it is without errors. Hida Atarasi 13:34, 17 December 2012 (EST)

- More likely they're having a mid-season break and the rest of season 2 will play in a few months. --abates 16:37, 29 May 2012 (EDT)

Lord of the Rings?
[edit]Think we should mention anything about the fact that this episode is similar in plot to the Lord of the Rings books/films? I mean think about it: finding/recieving an object of doom if the enemy takes it, dropping it into a volcano, with one of the characters being knocked into a lava pit with said object of doom, while the main character gets injured by said enemy. --94.171.163.95 06:06, 29 May 2012 (EDT)
- I think we should mention something about the fact that this episode is similar to Joe Versus the Volcano. --ItsWalky 12:45, 29 May 2012 (EDT)
- This episode is an homage to World 1-4 of the original Super Mario Bros. -LV 02:18, 30 May 2012 (EDT)
Discrepancies with Triage
[edit]I could be wrong about this, but it seems to me that there was a discrepancy between this episode and Triage concerning Bulkheads return through the Ground Bridge.
In Triage, right before Bulkhead returns, I seem to remember Ratchet was all giddy, talking up a storm, and ready to brag to Bulkhead as he comes through the Bridge. He then turns around and is aghast to see Bulkhead's smoking back side.
In this episode, Ratchet being all giddy, talking to Raf until he realizes something bad is going on and then waits in silence for Bulkhead to come through. He then gasps, "Oh No" as Bulkhead comes flying trough the bridge. Sarpiedon 12:16, 29 May 2012 (EDT)
