Surely this should be at 'Tranquility (Armada)', then disambig'd with the movie Tranquility (which should be moved to 'Tranquility (Movie)') and Tranquility Mall? Jalaguy 11:32, 22 January 2013 (EST)
- If it is known to be in Kansas, that gives us an inherent disambiguation so that we do not need to use "Tranquility (Armada)". I'd argue that "Tranquility" should actually be split into "Tranquility, Nevada" and "Tranquility, California". - Yeah, but it isn't as if we have Jasper at 'Jasper, Nevada'. I don't really have a problem with state names in titles, it's just there's no precedent, and surely all town articles should be consistent in that regard? Also, splitting the movie Tranquilities would be a bit extreme, would it not? They're both intended to be the same place - the town where Sam is from. It'd be like splitting two G1 Spike Witwickys 'cause they were said to have different hometowns... Jalaguy 11:49, 22 January 2013 (EST)
- If there is nothing else called "Townname", I don't see the need to have the actual town at "Townname, State". If there is something else, then the town should go to "Townname, State" as first choice of disambiguation (with "Townname, State (Continuity)" being the next step). Putting Tranquility, CA and Tranquility, NV on the same page strikes me as combining two different things. One is Sam's hometown in fictions A, B, and C while the other is Sam's hometown in fictions X, Y, and Z. The same character in different continuities could easily be from different towns. The only problem would be if one issue of a comic said CA while the next said NV and the one after that said CA.
