Update: New Characters
[edit]As of a few days ago, an update has added these characters: Rewind Over-Run Menasor Dead End Motormaster Offroad --Haven13 (talk) 14:00, 14 March 2015 (EST)
We will need Maximal and Pred sections too. Optimus Primal, Megatron, Waspinator, and Cheetor, all in their original forms, have been added. Also, interestingly, Waspy has his toy's Mutant mask instead of his cartoon face. Avalanche (talk) 12:27, 10 April 2015 (EDT)
Quotes
[edit]I'm playing the Energon out of this game. I'd love to contribute here, but I'm a total newb with the editing thing, and I don't want to screw anything up. If anyone can help me in that regard, I'd appreciate it.
Anyway, during battles, the characters often use word bubbles to make various statements. I'll start keeping actual track of them and posting them here, but, from what I can tell, they are all G1 (GEEWUN!) in nature if not Transformers: The Movie ONLY quotes.
A notable quote is, "What are we going to do now?" I think there's a joke in there somewhere by the people who included it, in reference to Spike's scatological utterance that got so much attention.
I think the quotes are related to how well the team is doing. "We're all going to look like burnt out toaster ovens." comes up when they are on their last leg.
Here's what I have so far:
I've never seen anything like this. . .
You check in. But you don't check out.
I'm. . . I'm just a soldier. . .
One shall stand. One shall fall.
I can help. I wanna help. What about me?
Who disrupts my coronation?
Proceed - on your way to oblivion.
Wait! I still function!
Any help would be appreciated! --Haven13 (talk) 18:00, 5 March 2015 (EST)
Haven, I have also seen:
I thought you were made of sterner stuff.
Grant me mercy, I beg of you!
Don't know how much longer we can hold out.
I belong to nobody!
You even fixed a nasty bur in my rotator!
I'll update this as I see more. Also, I'd love to start writing more for this article if it's okay with the mods. Avalanche (talk) 12:06, 10 April 2015 (EDT)
I wrote down some stuff, and will write more later, but it sounds like slag. I'm sure someone out there can clean it up. Avalanche (talk) 20:15, 10 April 2015 (EDT)
Linking
[edit]Why are we linking two characers to their WFC versions when ALL the rest link to G1 versions? Is this a cross-continuity game or is it a G1 game? --Khajidha (talk) 12:51, 12 February 2015 (EST)
- I linked Barricade and Slipstream to their Aligned articles because of their designs being based on their respective toys. But it's easily solved by repurposing these toys as their G1 counterparts. It's easy for Slipstream at least.--Fritz (talk) 12:59, 12 February 2015 (EST)
- Considering how later designs are often used in G1 material nowadays, I don't think it should be a deterrent now. If 99% of everything else is G1... Saix (talk) 14:21, 12 February 2015 (EST)
- This game clearly isn't "set" anywhere. If a team can have three Powerglides on it, it can have Aligned Slipstream hanging out with G1 Junkheap. (We've actually only ever seen Slipstream in that body hanging out with people who aren't from her home universe...) -LV (talk) 13:51, 25 February 2015 (EST)

Character list
[edit]I was able to get a full character list from a representative of DeNA. Not sure if it reveals anything that we don't already know about. --Monzo (talk) 13:40, 25 February 2015 (EST)

- Is Jetfire (II) another character/body from the other listing for Jetfire? It seems weird that it's the only listing with roman numerals afterwards differentiating it from another entry of the character with the same name. --Ascendron (talk) 14:21, 25 February 2015 (EST)
- Jetfire II uses his battle mask. He and the Armada guys are the only ones with something differentiating their names. Also, an interesting thing that happened recently in my game was that Nacelle showed up in a matter of seconds and then disappeared. I think it was a bug and that he will be added to the game soon. Sadly I can't prove with a screencap.--Fritz (talk) 14:39, 25 February 2015 (EST)
Circuit
[edit]He was first added here as a Decepticon, and I read a thread somewhere else (Facebook?) that also said he was a Decepticon, although for all I know they got it from here. Was he ever a Decepticon? Did they fix it? Does anyone actually have a character who requires a huge amount of actual money to get a small chance at obtaining? -LV (talk) 23:58, 9 April 2015 (EDT)
- Soooo...still no answer to that, plus the page currently calls Circuit a Decepticon with no acknowledgement that this is weird at all. Anybody? Anybody have Circuit at all? -LV (talk) 18:10, 19 April 2015 (EDT)
- Looks like he has an Autobot insignia to me --abates (talk) 18:28, 19 April 2015 (EDT)
Promotional Images...
[edit]...show Arcee's robot mode and a different Megatron inspired by the Combiner Wars Leader Class. Don't know if this has been mentioned.
- Just read the article. Arcee is marked with "* Characters that aren't in the game yet, but appear in promotional material". Also, Combiner Wars Megatron already is in the game.--Fritz (talk) 23:35, 15 April 2015 (EDT)
I have read the article. It only says 'Megatron' (I've only ever seen the Legends Class one in-game), and I thought that 'promotional material' just meant that main image. Sorry.
New BW characters
[edit]Inferno, Scorponok, Blackarachnia, Tarantulas. All toy-based. Avalanche (talk) 21:23, 8 May 2015 (EDT)
HOLY CHEESE
[edit]G2 laser prime, G2 Bumblebee, G2 Megatron, G2 Ramjet added to the game! Avalanche (talk) 23:25, 21 May 2015 (EDT)
- Okay, but I'm a little confused now. Why does the G2 characters are separated in the characters list, while other versions of the same characters like Jetfire II and the dozens of Acid Storms are not counted? I think that, following the logic, the G2 characters shouldn't be mentioned as they are the same guys from G1, unless they were from other continuities like the RID and Armada guys.--Fritz (talk) 01:42, 22 May 2015 (EDT)
I suppose that makes sense, but they are specifically listed in game as 'G2 whoever', so I actually listed them. Avalanche (talk) 10:22, 22 May 2015 (EDT)
- Not exactly, while G2 Optimus is indeed called "Laser Optimus Prime", G2 Bee is just "Bumblebee" in-game. We can't see Megatron's and Ramjet's in-game names yet, but it's pretty clear that all the names are taken from the toys they're based on, and don't differ their toylines. That's why the Generations and BW Megatrons are just called "Megatron" while the Armada version is "Armada Megatron". So, yeah, we're making this so much more complicated than it should be...--Fritz (talk) 12:24, 22 May 2015 (EDT)
1. You can view the other names by viewing event info. 2. I will remove the names from the list. 3. I think we should have a list of events for the page. Avalanche (talk) 16:28, 22 May 2015 (EDT)
More awesome characters
[edit]They haven't been added yet, but in your materials section you will find listings for "Dinobot Core" and "Megatron Alligator Core". Yay, Beast Wars! Avalanche (talk) 15:17, 28 May 2015 (EDT)
Proof:
I have no clue why Dinobot's is showing up black and not brown. Avalanche (talk) 15:31, 28 May 2015 (EDT)
- That's cool, but man, why another Megatron?! Strangely, the cores in my game are different, and Dinobot's is actually brown. Anyway, the game's Facebook page posted an image indicating that another kind of Dinobot might show up very soon... --Fritz (talk) 16:11, 28 May 2015 (EDT)
Yeah, I saw that Facebook post. When I said the Dinobot cores were showing up black, I just meant in my screenshot. They are brown in-game for me, too. Avalanche (talk) 17:14, 28 May 2015 (EDT)
Holy Slag, they just added Dinobot, Rattrap, Bat Primal, and Alligator Megatron to the game! Avalanche (talk) 18:05, 28 May 2015 (EDT)
Forgot to mention this....
[edit]As Quickstrike would say, this will probably seem like hot air to you, and I can't back my claim. In the early days of the Beast Wars Episode 2 Event, (Inferno/Tarantulas/Blackarachnia/Scorponok) there were listings for Inferno and Scorponok cores in the materials section. The Scorponok cores were just standard cores in his colors, while the Inferno cores were those weird "double" cores that are used sparsely, in red and gray. I actually got an Inferno core at one point. The cores were removed from the listings and my inventory shortly afterwards. I think they were doing something similar to Vortex, where you could build him even if you didn't win him in the event. But, since they showed them DURING the event, they most likely thought that people wouldn't spend their money try to win if they knew they could just build the characters afterwards. That's my theory, anyways. Avalanche (talk) 09:18, 1 June 2015 (EDT)

Posthumous Editing
[edit]I would like to know, how many users on this wiki played this game extensively? I would greatly apperciate it if there another person who can finish the article stubs on this page. It's a bit of a shame that this game article is not nearly as complete as the Transformers: Legends article, escpecially after the game's retirement....
