Talk:Transformers: Earth Wars
The game has been released worldwide May 27, 2016, according to the App Store. So when will this article be fully written out? This page needs the infobox, images, and complete gameplay details, and comprehensive images and in-game information foe each individual character in this game.

- Perhaps you'd like to get started on the work? - Chris McFeely (talk) 20:28, 6 June 2016 (EDT)

This comic was released in coincidence with the game's latest Beast Wars saga. Is it eligible to have an article on the Tfwiki? It is written by Simon Furman and drawn by a developer of a game studio in association with Hasbro.
Edit: Yes it seems so. --Woo224 (talk) 22:22, 21 April 2017 (EDT)
User:Dinobot56 is constantly persistent on adding his personally created Google Slides on redundant information on the game that has already been provided. Can somebody explain to this eager young user exactly why these documents do not belong here? --Woo224 (talk) 21:24, 20 June 2017 (EDT)
I've been putting together a comprehensive list of where each character design is drawn from on the Allspark forums. Woul dit be permissible for me to link the thread on this page under external links? --Metroidwave (talk) 19:07\8, 1 February 2020 (EDT)
Blaster has The Touch and the Power
[edit]Would it be worth mentioning that Blaster plays The Touch everytime he is in his Alt-Mode? (Also please dont tell me if Soundwave plays something too) (AutoTrooper2801 (talk) 22:50, 12 October 2021 (EDT))
Hello? Anyone? (AutoTrooper2801 (talk) 19:15, 10 November 2021 (EST))
About the Cosmic Rust Blaster
[edit]Are there any reasons against putting the Cosmic Rust Blaster in the same page as the disease itself? It is a weaponized use of the disease in the same vein as Oil Slick or Sentinel's use of it after all. -- PBChew18 (talk) 12:02, October 23 2025 (EDT)
- Don't we typically make unique pages for weapons, though? -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 15:27, 23 October 2025 (EDT)
- We do; it should get a unique page, but obviously also be mentioned on the main disease’s page. I think the mentioned examples would be special cases on account of neither being "significant" in the same way that the Rust Blaster is (the capitalized name of the TFEW weapon is also a clue towards that); however, if a page for the TFEW Blaster is created, I think it may be reasonable to put Sentinel's gun on there too (but don't quote me on that). - IGEBM13 (talk) 20:49, 23 October 2025 (EDT)
- Put me down for "devoted page" as well. --AzimuthAcolyte (talk) 23:42, 23 October 2025 (EDT)

Character tables with multiple subfactions and universes
[edit]Just now PBChew reverted my attempt to move Vector Prime and Nova Prime out to a special subsection of the current saga's character table on the basis of "We only split the Armada folks out of logistical reasons". What is that about? I'm the one who started the practice of subdividing a roster column with bold headers for different universes on Cloud story pages last year, which I then adapted over to Earth Wars story pages. I thought what I did just now was a fair attempt to balance Vector Prime and Nova Prime not being loyal within the story to the playable factions they are set up for. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 00:17, 8 April 2026 (EDT)
- The faction-specific Primes I do think should be labeled separately from everyone else even if Vector and Nova do seem only help their in-game factions in-story, but for the Beast Era characters, they're from the same universe as the G1 guys, so I see no reason to split them out. We're also discussing on the Discord channel whether or not to split out alt-universe characters like Metalhawk and Airazor since they fall under the same criteria as the Armada folks. (I'm all for that, though I would just put them all under an "alternate universes" header since they're all each from separate unnamed universes and that might make the table a little cluttered when they're all in the same story.) - IGEBM13 (talk) 06:51, 8 April 2026 (EDT)
- With regard to the Beast Wars characters, I find it handy to separate them out as a discrete large subgroup of time travelers with their own Optimus, Megatron, and Inferno, just as the Armada group has their own Optimus, Scavenger, Megatron, and Wheeljack. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 22:40, 8 April 2026 (EDT)
- Even then they're still treated as if they're still native to the main Earth Wars universe just a different part of the timeline (even if that has muddied lately which really doesn't justify the split now). Even moreso when you have Airazor and Tonbot who are confirmed to be not native to the main universe. -- PBChew18 (talk) 13:40, April 9 2026 (EDT)
- Precisely. Plus, we don't do it anywhere else (the exception would be IDW 2005 but that's for different reasons), so why should we with Earth Wars? -- IGEBM13 (talk) 07:03, 9 April 2026 (EDT)
