Talk:Transformers: Rescue Bots (franchise)
Are there Decepticons in this continuity?71.255.170.67 20:34, 19 November 2011 (EST)
- I doubt it; there hasn't been any official confirmation as of yet, and killer robots aren't exactly todddler-friendly. Tom Servo the Great 20:47, 19 November 2011 (EST)
- That sucks. I'm sure that this show is going to be like Dora and Bumblebee is going to stare at you, ask you questions, that wait ten minutes for him to say Yeah! But the reason I asked was because on Optimus Prime's page, it says waring robots, which gives a hint that Decepticons exist in their universe, even if they don't appear on-screen.71.255.170.67 12:50, 20 November 2011 (EST)
- "the universe is devoid of civil warring robots" - devoid means there aren't any. --abates 14:30, 20 November 2011 (EST)
- It may mean that this is yet another continuity where the Great War has already ended.71.162.106.55 21:29, 20 November 2011 (EST)

- Yes. This is the Aligned Continuity. --Sabrblade 11:33, 21 December 2011 (EST)
- I now see that. It's funny how I just read an article about in a magizene for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (GameInformer) a few days ago, and found out the Aligned continuity will literaly be the final continuity family and define the Transformers brand in the future. I was thinking about that, and thought about this franchise and the next day I found that Optimus Prime (RB) was merge into Optimus Prime (Prime) because of this. But what I still can't wrap my head around of is how can that be if the Rescue Bots are known to the public (appearently) and in Transformers: Prime the Autobots are hidden and are a military secret (which kind of reminds me of Men in Black, all they need now are "mindwipers"). Then again I haven't watched the sneak peaks, I only saw the Hub commercail, and that what I saw in the commercail. Correct me if I'm wrong.Noob saibot red 22:12, 25 December 2011 (EST)
- I think that magazine was a little premature in saying that Aligned is the "final" continuity family. It is the basis for all new TF fiction for the foreseeable future, but Hasbro could decide to do something else later on. --Khajidha 08:52, 26 December 2011 (EST)
- The Rescue Bots manage to sidestep the blending-in problem by living on an island that is already highly-advanced technology-wise, and by pretending to be mindless human-built robots when in public and in their robot modes. Tom Servo the Great 22:55, 25 December 2011 (EST)
- Ok now that makes sense. I didn't think of that. Now it all makes sense. What I just can't make sense of is when does this show take place. Is it suppose to take place before, after, or during Transformers: Prime?Noob saibot red 14:51, 26 December 2011 (EST)
- I don't think there is a reason not to think both series are concurrent with "now." Fiction is usually happening "now" unless it says otherwise. But the two Rescue Bots episodes we have seen are previews, so they probably happen whenever season 1 actually starts. - Starfield 15:52, 26 December 2011 (EST)
- Season 1 of Prime or Rescue Bots?Noob saibot red 19:43, 26 December 2011 (EST)

Rescue Bots Coloring Book
[edit]In a Dollar General last week, I saw a Rescue Bots coloring and activity book. Now that I see no mention of it here, I'll probably buy it and make the page soon. Only reason I didn't was that it barely even seemed worth $1; not that anyone expects Shakespeare from preschool, but this one's so lame and redundant it makes even some of the G2 coloring books look like high drama by comparison.
I'm guessing that adding it will require a fifth bullet point, since it's not packed in with anything. Are there really no stand-alone RB storybooks so far?Bumblevivisector 17:59, 10 October 2013 (EDT)
