We don't split up species by continuity family, do we? The Quintessons themselves, for instance, have one big article covering all continuities. Cybertron games

Why there are notes about Cybertron games in this page? Ok, Hasbro confirmed that they are all in same universe. But, Retribution is continuation of previous novels, rather than Cybertron games. HispasatBot 19 February 2020

Ah. I think I get it. The Exodus novel and War for Cybertron game both tell slightly different versions of the same period of time in Aligned history. Normally, this would mean two different universal streams, meaning Retribution would be following after the Exodus novel, and therefore WFC notes would be off-topic. However, early statements given by Hasbro about the Aligned continuity emphasized that all Aligned properties were meant to be one single continuity. Things that don't work, well...you should all just squint a little until it does work. So bits about WFC may inform on the novels and may inform on the Prime cartoon...even though they don't entirely fit together as a whole. Okay, I have this to say: the exodus novel after chapter 15 is a LOOSE ADAPTATION of the war for cybertron video games, the games version of the story goes more into detail on the war, as they had 2 games to build it off of. So, that the games story is the canonical events of the war, and exodus in chapter 16 onward is a retelling of that same war. Mikey. 01:11, 14 November 2020 (EST)

The way Aligned fiction works (especially early Aligned fiction), it's not an all-or-nothing principle where EITHER Exodus OR WFC applies, but not both. There can be notes about both Exodus and WFC here, even if those two fictions contradict or overlap each other in places. --Xaaron (talk) 11:30, 21 February 2020 (EST)
