Mini.Con 10-pack "general retail"?
[edit]Thus far it has only been found at Kmart and Meijer.
Standalone multi-packs (before anyone cites stuff like Screen Battles or Human Alliance, which have their own assortments with multiple waves) are rarely genuine mass releases. The ones that are are usually announced, just like the single releases that ship in waves.
Any reason we don't consider this 10-pack a shared Meijer/Kmart exclusive for the time being?--Nevermore 11:31, 11 October 2009 (EDT)
- All I know is that there was no "exclusively at..." sticker. I wouldn't know if it is exclusive (other places couldn't stock it even if they wanted to) or if other places chose not to stock it or what. - Starfield 12:35, 11 October 2009 (EDT)
- Well, other definite store exclusives (Costco, Sam's Club, Kmart etc.) don't have an exclusive sticker either, so that's no argument.
- There've been quite a few "shared" store exclusives in the past few years, with stuff like the second batch of the clear RID Spychangers being originally exclusive to KB Toys and later also showing up at Target, the KB Toys exclusive Universe Micromaster Aerialbots popping up at CVS Pharmacy or the Universe 1.0 rebranding of the Classics "Ultimate Battle" two-pack first being stocked by Dollar General and later popping up at KB Toys.
- Thing is, standalone (i.e. not part of a multi-wave assortment) multi-packs are usually store exclusives. The ones that aren't (Classics "The Ultimate Battle", Animated "The Battle Begins" and Jetstorm/Jetfire) are usually officially announced by Hasbro. So until further notice, I'd file the Mini-Con 10-pack under "shared exclusives".--Nevermore 09:26, 12 October 2009 (EDT)
On the topic of shared exclusives, where does the box set "Warriors from Three Worlds" fit on this list? 90.198.228.61 07:31, 25 October 2009 (EDT)
- Added this set under "Market Six", I haven't added them to the individual pages as I'm still trying to figure out how to write it up. Khajidha 21:11, 28 November 2009 (EST)
Other toylines
[edit]Currently there are notices on the G1, Classics and Animated pages about characters from those lines being released in Universe. My question is, should such a notice be appended to the toylines of other franchises that have Universe series (G2, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, RiD, Armada and Cybertron)? Note that these links would only be added if there is at least one "______ Series" release in Universe. Khajidha 12:11, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
- Yes, that is a good idea. - Starfield 12:14, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
- Okay, done. Khajidha 12:57, 31 October 2009 (EDT)
Big Daddy and Divebomb
[edit]I found "Universe Deluxe" Big Daddy and Divebomb at Hasbro's New Zealand website. Does that mean anything? - Starfield 23:46, 1 December 2009 (EST)
- Sounds to me like the Movie versions, y'know, the Walmart "offscreen" Deluxes. Repackaged, maybe? --ItsWalky 23:53, 1 December 2009 (EST)
- Don't know how long the picture has been up there, but the link to Big Daddy actually shows the Movie version complete with in package photo. Khajidha 09:37, 15 December 2009 (EST)
