Okay, having checked the layout on three different browsers on two different computers with two different resolutions, I have to ask. What exactly does that huge whitespace gap prevent from "expletiving up"? --Detour 00:49, 21 February 2011 (EST)

I'm not sure why whitespace is the devil. Sometimes whitespace can be nice. It can improve readability and comprehension. Mind, I don't think I have a strong preference for the whitespace or the more consolidated look in this particular instance. Just statin' my feelings on whitespace. --ItsWalky 01:19, 21 February 2011 (EST)
Well I have no objection if a little bit of whitespace allows, say, images lining up with the proper text or to keep toy images with their respective toy descriptions on character pages and suchlike. But here, it's quite a bit of whitespace to prevent what Jeysie claims would "expletive up the page", but I checked multiple different means and see nothing wrong whatsoever with the page without a whitespace. And it doesn't exactly hurt readability or comprehension here, either. It seems like it's a whitespace for little more than whitespace's sake. --Detour 01:34, 21 February 2011 (EST)

Product list

[edit]

THe list is a bit of mess I fear with the no. 11 hilux being in two places and stuff like the lock robots or MC-12 not even being in here. How complete do we desire this to be in the first place though? Just pre-tf Trasformer or the entire list? And if we include pre-tf Trasformers that were not licensed by Takara like the Highway patrol gun? We include Omega after all and we include Diaclone toys that never made it as a Transformer.... Following the same logic the Trasformer line to list here becomes a lot bigger. --Argus 11:37, 10 August 2011 (EDT)

I'd go for a complete list of all "Trasformer" releases, but leave the later "Transformers" branded ones for the Generation 1 (European toyline) page. All the Diaclone toy molds listed on that page became Transformers except for the jet/helicopter triple changer which is listed mainly because it was part of the same subgroup as the pre-Blitzwing. --Khajidha 13:10, 10 August 2011 (EDT)
I'll see what I can dig up on the non Takara stuff. There is quite some stuff out there. (similar to estrella non-Takara molds and such). ANyone fancy we should take up the first Diaclone release sets by Gig as well? First issue stuff differs a lot from the later releases. Stuff like Cromar and friends (Powerdasher molds) were initially released boxed in styro. Later more common releases have them on a card.--Argus 11:20, 5 September 2011 (EDT)
