Talk:True fan
Some one needs to add "Anyone who only likes the first 2 seasons of G1 is a true fan." Right?
- Sometimes less is more. No need to go into long lists of what every jerk fan you've ever come across claims a "true fan" is or isn't. --Khajidha 19:29, 12 September 2010 (EDT)
Yes, but generally, the people who say stuff like this think The only part of all of transformers that matters is G1,and only seasons 1 and 2. Not 3 and 4, not RID, not Even the comics, probably not the toys either, and not the movie. just season 1 and 2. But your idea does make sense.
I may be new as far as speaking up on the wiki, but I've been a fan since 1984. I would like to offer the point of view that the only "True Fan" is a fan for life. Regardless of the fandom, those who are fans for a while and then walk away I would never consider as anything but what I call a Transient or Temporary fan, while True Fans stay fans no matter how much time goes by, what changes take place, or how old they are. It makes logical sense to me, but then I'm probably the only person who thinks this way. Lifetime Transfan since 1984. 16:40, 18 May 2013 (EDT)

[edit]What the hell is the point of adding that one? That's a cut and dry, not subjective topic, so much so that the urban legends page explains the issue. Further, while there has been lots and lots of arguing on this point, I have NEVER seen anyone pull the true fan card regarding it. It doesn't make sense being here at all.
