I'm pretty positive this episode has some a lot of references to Alien, but since I haven't watched that movie in many years I thought I'd see if anyone else saw any. At the very least we have a black alien with a freaky mouth crawling through the walls and taking down the crew one by one. - I am pretty sure there's a bit in the first sequel where a facehugger hits the inside of a glass tube while someone's looking at it, and the bit in this episode where the energon eater hits the glass of the observation booth is a reference to that. --abates (talk) 16:51, 16 August 2016 (EDT)

There is the remaining consideration, continuity-wise, of Optimus Prime having given the Rescue Bots the orders for the new training center earlier in the season, which would mean after the gap between Prime/Predacons Rising and RID, but before his resurrection in the finale of RID's first season (where Bumblebee finally nailed his catchphrase).
