The date in the comic could still be correct actually. Yes, Time Wars was stated to have taken place on New Year's Day 2009 but the Autobots would have travelled back to 2009 from the past that same day. However, they return to the same day in a revised future where Time Wars didn't happen (where Rodimus Prime and the others were supposed to be in this revised future to everyone else before they came back is another discussion entirely). All that you have to believe is that Rodimus came back, was on the run from Galvatron and then went into space during the same day. A very busy day but its possible. Whereas if you believe the 2010 explanation then some time has passed between Rodimus' return, AoE: Galvatron and The Void. Personally though, I don't accept everything said in the letters pages as being factual.

Also, if you do believe that 2009 is correct, how about Rhythms of Darkness taking place later that same year? Getaway shown lying on the ground in Shadow of Evil could have just been defeated rather than killed. 84.64.160.4 21:47, 2 September 2009 (EDT)
