Talk:Whirl (FOC)
I know that Impactor and Roadbuster were mentioned in TFP, but Whirl wasn't. Which raises my question: why put him a "Prime" label?Rayqui 04:16, 19 July 2012 (EDT)
- Because Ruination would fall over if his leg was in a different continuity?! Mister Jazz 13:50, 19 July 2012 (EDT)
- We don't disambig by continuity. We disambig by franchise. And Nexus Prime might want to have a few words if disambiguating limbs by different franchises is not kosher. --ItsWalky 14:27, 19 July 2012 (EDT)
- (I am going to put "TFwiki disambigs by franchise, not continuity" on a t-shirt and never take it off. Maybe put out an ad with that text in the New York Times.) --ItsWalky 14:36, 19 July 2012 (EDT)
Okay. Whirl may or may not be labeled FOC. He may or may not be Aligned. But I'm pretty sure his first appearance is as a toy from the Generations toyline, which is a franchise. So how about this. --ItsWalky 14:34, 19 July 2012 (EDT)
- I agree. Also, if you ever make that shirt, mass-produce them so I can buy one. Rayqui 18:09, 19 July 2012 (EDT)
This page needs a definitive source that FOC whirl and Rescue Bots Academy Whirl are different characters. There's only one Bumblebee in the aligned continuity, so why not just one whirl? We need definitive proof that extends to more than just an image in the background of a shot. I make this statement on the grounds that the 'Whirl' in the background of RBA isn't even referred to as whirl in any official source as far as I could tell. Any information on this would be helpful.Gary Goyle (talk) 13:51, 29 October 2021 (EDT)
