So, do we actually have to pretend that this obviously-designed-to-be-female character isn't female in the absence of explicit confirmation? --KilMichaelMcC (talk) 20:51, 16 December 2013 (EST)

Seems kinda silly. --ItsWalky (talk) 21:28, 16 December 2013 (EST)
So assuming this [1] is accurate, Windshear's bio in the Legends game does not specify gender. It uses no pronouns, while the other members of the team are both male. [2] [3] Hmmmmm. --KilMichaelMcC (talk) 13:40, 13 February 2014 (EST)
It's honestly not obvious to me that Windshear was designed to be female, but I freely admit I may be in the minority on this one. I'd motion to ask someone about this one nex time there's a chance, but treat Windshear as female until then. --Nemesis Primal (talk) 23:58, 2 March 2014 (EST)
I would have to agree. At first, I was in the camp of thinking that this toy is definitely female, but now having it in hand, the only thing about that strikes me as "obviously feminine" about it are the legs. The rest of it all seems pretty gender neutral, and that Legends art similarly looks like it could go either way, current favoring neither one over the other. --Sabrblade (talk) 00:52, 3 March 2014 (EST)

"Unfortunately, Windshear has two design flaws: 1. Her cockpit is attached with a joint that makes it pop off almost every time the figure is transformed or combined. 2. Her left arm has the habit of detaching when turned." I agree with #1, but #2 doesn't seem to be an issue on my Windshear figure. Are we sure that #2 is a universal problem, or did whoever wrote #2 have a fluke? Do I have a fluke? Just curious. ---Lord of Hate (talk) 22:10, 15 October 2014 (EDT)

I remember having a problem with the cockpit but not the arm. --ItsWalky (talk) 00:36, 16 October 2014 (EDT)
Cockpit's a pain in the arse, but I think that's an isolated incident with the arm. On my set, it's Runway whose arm likes to pop off if I look at it. Just a random tolerance issue. - Chris McFeely (talk) 09:38, 16 October 2014 (EDT)
