Tantiv-Nas

Tantiv-Nas is a type of starship from the 2005 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Tantiv-Nas is a type of Ilxian spaceship. There are at least five classes of them.

2005 IDW continuity

A Class V Tantiv-Nas ship crashed on the planet LV-118, killing its entire crew aside from a scientist and two janitors. The scientist spent three solar years repairing the ship's structure using whatever scrap he could find on the planet, such parts taken from Wheelie's shipwreck, but he failed to find a way to power it. Once Rodimus found himself on LV-118, he had a disagreement with the Ilxian and stole his ship, using the Matrix of Leadership as its power source. Space Opera Part 1: The Stars My Destination

Wheelie piloted the Tantiv-Nas ship to Cybertron, at which point the Matrix seemingly refused to power it any further. It soon came under attack from Galvatron's Sweeps, but Ironhide and Sunstreaker provided Rodimus' crew with a new power source, allowing them to flee to Earth. Space Opera Act 2: Out of the Silent Planet All of the occupants would later leave Earth on board Omega Supreme, presumably leaving the Tantiv-Nas ship on Earth.
