{{MarvelUScover}} is a template for the description and copyright-notice of a cover scan from the Marvel US Generation 1 series. It puts the image into the category Category:Marvel US covers.

The bracketed numbers above (such as "{{{1}}}") represent places where your input will be inserted:

{{{1}}} = the description of the image
{{{2}}} = the issue number
{{{3}}} = the title of the main story contained in the issue
{{{4}}} = a list of the artists who worked on the cover
{{{5}}} = the last two digits of the year the issue was originally published

For example, this is how {{MarvelUScover}} is used for Image:MarvelUS-01.jpg:
