Template:Now

Use {{now|~~~~~}} to include a relative timestamp when speaking about the status of events in the future in order to make it clear to the reader that the information is subject to change, ans when it was written.

Example: As of this writing{{now|~~~~~}} the lawsuit is still in progress.
Would create: As of this writing ^{({{#time: M-d-y| 00:13, 11 July 2007 (UTC) }})} the lawsuit is still in progress.

Note: The five (5) tildes (~) are required, because the Wikimedia software will convert them into a permanent (text) timestamp when the page is saved.

To update an existing timestamp to indicate the information is still believed to be accurate (though some time has passed since it was first written,) replace the written-out time in the article {{now|00:05, 11 July 2007 (UTC)}} with ~~~~~ again {{now|~~~~~}}.
